Prayer for "V" Vincent

Exodus 23:25 (New International Version)

25 Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.

Lord, I pray that you continue to watch over Vincent and J.R. that you heal them and continue to give them strength so they may continue to do your work. I pray that you keep their spirit up and that they don't give up on hope.

Matthew 21:22
22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask in prayer.
In Gods name I pray, Amen

Praying for "V" Vince

Hey team so glad to hear of the progress you are making. Praise God for your endurance in such conditions. I am inspired by all of you. Please let Vince know we are praying for him to make a full and speedy recovery.

Father we come before your throne of grace, mercy and love and ask that you would heal our brother Vince from whatever it is that is making him ill . You are the great physician and ruler of all things. We ask that you would keep the evil one away form this group of your servants while they so lovingly serve you. I pray that not only is Vince healed but that you would protect the rest of the team so they can stay strong and perserver in all situations. In the name of Jesus, I pray! Amen!

Side note for JR.... I'm so glad you are not stubborn about that ring or anything. lol . Praying for your recovery as well!

Because of Him,
Michelle

Thanks for posting and loving on the Haitian people through your hard work!

Gotta run I think someone is at my door again....um....RC was that you again? Yea, it was, it was!
Justine saw physical therepy patiences and Debbie, Sarah and Amanda have been assisting Dr. Steve
Amy and Teri got a entire storage room filled with supplies organized and cleaned
You all are too funny! We have the luxury of having Dr. Steve as part of our team, he says he doesn't think it's broken, but cannot tell without an ex-ray, my ring finger is swollen so I could not take my ring off if I wanted to, which I don't. Dr. Steve has wrapped and taken care of me and another one of our team members and the youngest, Vince ...or "V" as all the Haitians are lovingly calling him he is very, very ill, he has been throwing up since about 2pm this afternoon, Dr. Steve is not sure what it is yet, we all prayed over him tonight. Please pray for him, there's nothing worse than trying to sleep in extreme heat, much less being sick too.  The construction team had another great day, Mike and I moved giant mounds of boulders from outside to inside, Tom and Jim took down another wall that was filled with rebar and concrete! There will be church service on Sunday, so needless to say we have a lot to do. Amy is going to tell you how it went with the medical team today...tomorrow, she just went to bed.  Miss you all and thanks for the the imput, all team members asked daily if their family has been blogging, so if you have not started, nows the time! Thanks again for the prayers and verses.

All in fun JR

Hey JR this is for you we all broke our hands at kickboxing tonight! RC did a great job. I only saw one person leave to throw up and a couple cry something about wanting their mommy. But other than that we are good!
Love,
Chris, Michelle, Brian and Nora
P.S. this was all Brian's idea!
We really do hope your hand is feeling better! ; )

nubby!

Well JR I am so sorry you broke your hand...maybe?! But I wonder... were you able to take your wedding ring off before it swelled more? YOU WERE NOT SUPPOSED to take it to Haiti. I told you to get a tattoo! I hope it doesn't hurt too bad : (
This the after picture.  He said they went to the hospital to get it checked out, but they didn't xray it.  They just wrapped it.  LOL! Sorry J.R.  We will continue to pray for you!

Love,
RC

J.R. day three of hard labor!

PICTURES!

I have been txting with J.R. this morning, he says they are all ok.  It's very HOT!  He sent me two pictures via Txt.  His phone works over there. So we are so blessed to be able to communicate with him.

Praying

I pray that you all have a good day today, stay safe, drink lot's of water.  I hope you all get a lot more done in the name of the father.  Keep your mind and thoughts on GODS word and don't let evil guide you.

Psalm 31 (New Living Translation)

19 How great is the goodness
you have stored up for those who fear you.
You lavish it on those who come to you for protection,
blessing them before the watching world.

20 You hide them in the shelter of your presence,
safe from those who conspire against them.
You shelter them in your presence,
      far from accusing tongues.

 21 Praise the Lord,
for he has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love.
He kept me safe when my city was under attack.

22 In panic I cried out,
“I am cut off from the L
ord!”
But you heard my cry for mercy
and answered my call for help.

23 Love the Lord, all you godly ones!
      For the L
ord protects those who are loyal to him,
but he harshly punishes the arrogant.

24 So be strong and courageous,
all you who put your hope in the L
ord!

We look forward to hearing from you guys today, and I pray that you will be able to post some pictures.

Love,
RC
